I was pretty reluctant to sign up with a company that required an entire year's hosting fees to be paid up front, but the extensive services you get with the account were too good to pass up for the ridiculously low cost...so I signed up. Well, right off the bat, I had some problems with FrontPage and my forms. E-mail support was almost immediate. This problem led me to another problem (database this time) so he actually CALLED ME!! Most of this was happening during the four day Thanksgiving weekend, too! We were still exchanging e-mails into the wee hours of Thanksgiving morning... I couldn't believe that I was getting help so late. I finally told him to go to bed!!!!! Anyway, I got my year's worth of subscription cost in three days of technical support. I am a web designer and have several clients using ActiveHost as their host provider. Whenever we have a question or need, they are always right on it for us. Recently, we had a database causing us trouble and giving us error messages. I sent a request for help, not knowing what the error was. As to hosting: down maybe 1 minute a month, if that. As to help and support: very fast, efficient, very clear in their answers to your questions. Will receive a response in email in as fast as a couple of minutes.
